Present Tenses: Review

When we describe the present state of people and places, or talk about present events, we use present tenses.
Read the paragraphs below and supply the correct forms of the verbs. Simple form of the verb is given in brackets, write the correct form in the blank. Fill in all the gaps, then press "Check" to check your answers.


1. My favorite place on the south campus is the terrace behind the Hamlin Hall. I (like) to sit there with my friends or alone. I usually (buy) a sandwich and something to drink, then I (find) a bench and (sit) there enjoying the view. Usually, one of the many cats (come) and (ask) for a share of my sandwich. I (like) cats so I (share) my sandwich with them. When I (sit) there I (feel) calm and (forget) about my daily worries.

2. My best friends Ezgi and Eren (live) in the second girls' dorm. Eren (stay) in a room on the second floor and Ezgi (be) in a room on the third. They both (say) that their rooms (be) too crowded. Eight people (share) a room and (sleep) in bunk beds.
