Zeliha Gülçat majored in psychology at METU, and completed her MS in Applied and Clinical Psychology at Hacettepe University. She taught at METU English Language Preparatory School from 1982 to 1987. She received her MA in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) at the University of Reading, England, where she was a British Council KELT scholar. She transferred to Bogazici University in 1987. Between 1991 and 1993 she taught at ESL Marion College, Indianapolis and studied sociolinguistics at postgraduate level at the University of Indiana, Bloomington. Since 1993 she has been teaching at Bogazici University.
Oya Özağaç received a BA in ELT and a MSc in Cognitive Science from METU. She worked in Bilkent University and METU as a language instructor. She also received a Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English from Bilkent University. She now teaches at the School of Foreign Languages, Bogazici University.
